The two teams that brawled it out in the Semi-finals for the Overwatch World Cup 2017 were national teams from Canada and Sweden. Chips played his main, Mercy, and tried to make a big difference for his team. Canada eventually takes over the game in dominance to face the giants of the east during the Grand Finals.

The Canadian team featured Overwatch League players including Surefour from Los Angeles Gladiators, Agilities from Los Angeles Valiant, xQc from Dallas Fuel, and Joemeister from Philadelphia Fusion.

The other corner in the ring, Sweden was filled with six OWL players four of which play for Overwatch League (OWL) teams in the United States. Both teams showed a great match, which ended with the difficult yet swift win for the Canadian National Overwatch Team. TviQ and chipshajen played strong but fell short during the series.

The Overwatch World Cup 2017 is one of the biggest international tournaments in Overwatch, featuring stars from all around the world including Ryujehong, aKm, SoOn, TviQ, Surefour, Kruise, and Chipshajen, among others.
