Starting on Mar, 7 the Overwatch League will implement a new hero pool system which will restrict a set of heroes from being played each week. Two DPS, one tank, and one support hero will be randomly selected from the pool based on play rate data from the previous two weeks.
No heroes will be made unavailable for two weeks in a row. The goal of these changes is to prevent meta stagnation as seen in previous seasons while promoting meta fluidity.
What do you think of these changes? Are you in support of hero pools or do you like the current system that leaves all picks open?
