In esports, it is common to see players retire at an early age due to a variety of factors ranging from a lack of career stability prompting some to return to school to simply getting burnt out from the lifestyle and transition into more of a coach/analyst role.

The Overwatch League may only be in its second season, but there is already a growing list of pro players who have hung up their mantle to focus on other pursuits ranging from growing their personal brands as streamers to giving other esports titles like APEX a shot.
