Depth is a critical part of any successful esport. Players need to feel rewarded for pouring hundreds of hours into mastering a game; just look at how far games like Melee have gone.

But today, we’ll be exploring an unlikely candidate for the title of deepest Nintendo esport, and possibly a deeper sports game than any Madden or FIFA you can find. This is Mario Superstar Baseball.
