RunAway Players Signed To Overwatch League Season 2, Contenders Region Locking | Akshon Recap

Team manager Flowervin announced on stream that every player on RunAway has been successfully signed to the Overwatch League for Season 2.

There are suspicions that the team as a whole has been signed over to the Vancouver Overwatch League franchise, but Flowervin said that she was not able to comment on whether the team had been acquired as a full package or if the players will be leaving for various organizations.

There are rumors within the competitive Overwatch community that Blizzard will be moving forward for future iterations of Contenders with a form of region locking.
