In Korean PC Bangs Overwatch comes in as the 3rd most played game at ~ 9 percent play rate with League of Legends in 2nd at a sizable 22 percent and PUBG still holding the top spot for 15 weeks running at 39 percent.

Who has the better tournament format? While the esports industry is only made better by having two franchised leagues, one cannot help but make comparisons between the NA LCS made by Riot Games and Blizzard's Overwatch League.

Numbers-wise the NA LCS has acquired a stable viewership after several seasons of competitive play, but after the first week of Stage 2 the Overwatch League managed to surpass the NA LCS in viewership, at least on Twitch numbers alone.
