After over a month of tournament play, the Overwatch Carbon Series came to a close on March 26th with Immortals (IMT) emerging victorious over Luminosity Gaming Evil (LGE) in the grand finals, ending the series on the final map of Dorado with a 3-1 record.

Immortals and LG Evil were the two top seeded teams in the playoff stage of the tournament after accumulating wins throughout the group stage against other fellow North American teams such as Team Liquid and LG Loyal.

Both teams stormed through the semi-finals with clean 3-0 wins over their opponents, compLexity Gaming and Renegades, respectively, to cement themselves as two of the best teams in North American Overwatch.
