Hosted this year in Seoul, South Korea, The Gauntlet is an international tournament that consisted of 10 teams, selected based on results from the 2019 Overwatch Contenders Pacific and Atlantic Showdowns respectively, Teams competed in a Group stage and later on were seeded into a double-elimination bracket to determine the world's best Overwatch Contenders team.
