The brief
Evil Geniuses (EG) is an esports organization with a storied history in game titles like StarCraft, Dota 2 and League of Legends. The organization competes in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT), where they emerged victorious as the 2023 World Champions. Heading into 2024, EG needed a partner to help bring the quality of their content to the next level, and approached Akshon to become the organization’s official media partner.
What we made
Akshon has produced various trailers, promotional material for the jersey launch, and a video showcasing EG’s VCT team bundle. Throughout the VCT season, we also provide game-day photography support, execute sponsorship deliverables and produce EG’s Comms Check series. Many of these videos involved working closely with EG’s staff and players to ideate, produce and film on tight deadlines, while keeping the content fun, engaging and authentic to their fans and the VALORANT community. To celebrate Evil Geniuses’ 25th anniversary, we are also producing a series of videos celebrating the organization’s competitive history and greatest accomplishments.
