Who is MenaRD?

Saul Leonardo “MenaRD” Mena II is a professional Street Fighter player from the Dominican Republic. He first gained attention worldwide during the 2017 Capcom Pro Tour for his dominance in South America and solid placements in North America which led to him qualifying for that year’s Capcom Cup. At the event, he took out the likes of Kazunoko, Daigo Umehara, Tokido, and Nemo on his way to being crowned the champion. Since then MenaRD has become a top player within the scene and even became the first ever two-time Capcom Cup champion in the final Capcom Cup for Street Fighter 5.

What are MenaRD’s results in Street Fighter 6?

Alongside his win at Red Bull Kumite, MenaRD has picked up titles at big tournaments like EVO Japan and CEO. He’s been finding success in team events too as Team Bandits Gaming, a team composed of MenaRD, Caba, Xiao Hai, and Chris T won the 2023 Street Fighter League World Championship as the US representative.
