Battle of BC, organized by Galint Gaming, is Canada’s premier Super Smash Bros. tournament series. Each year since 2016, the event has grown, with 2023 boasting more than 1,000+ entrants and millions of viewers worldwide.

Since its inception, Akshon has worked closely with Galint Gaming to produce marketing assets to promote their events. As of 2021, we have been the primary media partner, tasked with creating hype videos, event trailers, and live event videography.

At BoBC 5 in 2023, Akshon oversaw the planning and filming of all aspects of the event, which included conducting studio interviews with professional players, shooting b-roll, and comprehensive capture of all major tournament moments. This partnership allowed us to produce top quality marketing content, feature length YouTube documentaries, and announcement trailers which have amassed millions of views.

Through this partnership, Battle of BC has grown annually in scale, participation, and viewership.
